Tropical Cyclone Knocks Out Power to Thousands in Jefferson Parish

Entergy Working to Restore Service

A tropical cyclone that brought heavy rain and strong winds to the New Orleans area on Tuesday has knocked out power to thousands of residents in Jefferson Parish. Entergy, the local utility company, is working to restore service as quickly as possible.

Entergy Crews Working to Restore Service
